The project is progressing successfully! Now we had our second presence meeting, this time at our Czech partners AMPI and Ecofarma Probio. Eight project team members travelled to Pavel’s winery in Velke Hosteradky on 18-21 April 2023.
The first part of the meeting was dedicated to project management. We also got an overview of what we have achieved and how the following tasks will be dealt with. In particular, we took another close look at our target groups.
We used a practical approach and developed so-called personas. We described fictitious persons who represent our specific target groups. A persona helps to capture the complexity and heterogeneity of the characteristics in a group in a reductive way. These will guide us in the development of the different outcomes.
In the next 1.5 days, we tested the training and consulting materials developed in an intensive training-of-trainers session. Using a fictitious farm, we worked through the entire advisory cycle that aims to make a farm fit for adapting to climate change. The comprehensive and highly professional training materials developed by the partner Triebwerk were optimised in discussions in which all partners participated very actively.
On the last day, we could pass on what we had already created to farmers in an Open Field DayOn the farm of the Czech partner Ecofarma Probio, Janos Wack and Nils Tolle from Triebwerk presented to farmers attending the event. We introduced the ClimateFarming project to the local farmers and some agroforestry basics. We also took a tour of Ekofarma Probia, did a soil and site assessment, and finally learned what to look out for when planting a tree. The farm tour illustrated the vital contribution that this partner can make to our project.
The varied social programme organised by our hosts AMPI and Ecofarma Probio contributed significantly to the success of these days and further strengthened the team spirit. Highlights were the wine tasting at Pavel’s winery and an evening in Brno. small business plan excel template
