EKOFARMA PROBIO S.R.O.
Eco-farm is located 40 km south from Brno. Since 2007, it has been farming 355 ha of arable land in an organic farming system, which is perceived here not only as food production but also as a public service.
On the organic farm grows wheat, spelt, red wheat, einkorn, emmer, naked oats, buckwheat, sorghum, peas, clover, alfalfa, etc. Ekofarma PROBIO is fattening pigs and keeps sheep for grazing.
Priority is healthy and fertile soil. Ekofarma PROBIO is organizing thematic educational events for farmers to share knowledge and experience.
Second priority is a healthy landscape. Different types of bird boxes to support field birds are regularly installed. Dudel-Agri
Dudel-Agri is an organic family farm in the third generation in the South-West of Luxembourg. It manages almost 100 hectares arable and grass land. Its main branch is broiler production. The family processes about half of its chickens into different poultry products, which they sell from their own farm store and to speciality food stores, restaurants and canteens. The farm has set up its own company, Dudel-Magie, to market its own products, including eggs and home-made pasta. In 2014, Dudel-Magie was awarded the Bio-Agrar Prize in the category “processing of organic products”. In 2018, its manager Luc Emering received the Ceres Award for Young Farmer of the Year. The farm is a member of the Vereenegung fir Biolandwirtschaft Lëtzebuerg, an association of organic farmers in Luxembourg. As a demonstration farm and multiplier, the farm regularly welcomes other farmers and visitors to showcase innovative production methods. With the help of a wood chip plant and solar panels, the farm strives to keep its CO2 emissions as low as possible.
